Double Braid in commercial production quantities has arrived @ Bevis Rope.

In September of 2004, we made the decision to expand our limited Double Braid production. We added more braiding capacity. We ordered a state of the art twister to pre-twist the cover yarns. That twister arrived in February and was up and running in early March.

We had been making double braid for a number of years on a very limited basis. It let us get familiar with the ropes so that we would be ready to go when the timing was right.

We are offering the ropes in Nylon as well as Polyester. Our size selection will be from 1/4" to 1". Our Double Braid Polyester is in the DBPSTR series and our Double Braid Nylon is in the DBLN series.

The constructions on these ropes have been secured over the past 15 years from various sources. they will meet or exceed all applicable cordage Institute standards for Double Braid ropes. In many cases, they will exceed those specifications.

You will find these ropes basically break-down into categories.... the Double Braid Nylon is primarily used in Marine applications.

the Double Braid Polyester is  primarily used in Utility & Construction applications.
