Heavy Duty Ropes are made from very high quality fibers, based on tenacity, abrasion resistance, and performance. The fibers and  construction techniques are a bit less demanding than Professional duty, but above average to most ropes. These ropes are the choice of professionals as well as non-professionals who know the tasks at hand and the requirements of the rope. They generally fall into the category as follows:

Twisted Polyester

• Second strongest twisted general purpose rope available. This rope is a 4-stage rope, making it easy to splice (5 tucks minimum required).Excellent abrasion resistance. Excellent dielectric properties.  Resistant to rot, mildew, oils, gas and most chemicals. Excellent UV resistance.

Twisted Combination Rope

• Hi-Tenacity tire cord Polyester yarns are jacketed around hi-draw Polypropylene yarns, providing a Combination Rope.  Better abrasion resistance than a 100% Polypropylene rope.  Resistant to rot, mildew, oils, gas and most chemicals. Very good UV resistance.

Braided Polyester

• Hi-Tenacity tire cord Polyester yarns are braided in a smooth, round construction. Excellent abrasion resistance. No strength loss when wet.  Resistant to rot, mildew, oils, gas and most chemicals. Excellent UV resistance
