Jack Kruesi          President & Owner

Jack has spent more than 30 years in the rope industry. Before he purchased the company in 1978, he worked for five years in textile marketing—a great training ground for the rope business. Jack is  not only the company’s Sales Manager, but has also been the catalyst for many of the company’s innovations. His background and vast exposure to rope ove the past 3 decades makes him - arguably - one fo the top rope experts in the country.

Candy Kruesi       Creative Director

Candy, Jack’s wife and business partner, continues to be the driving force behind the company’s marketing and new product development efforts. She’s always looking for the next “Big Idea,” the kind that keeps the company steps ahead of the ever increasing industry competition.

Kendall McBay     Plant Manager

Kendall is the guy that keeps everything on the production line running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Bevis Rope’s longtime Plant Manager, he’s responsible for operations and maintenance, plant production goals and motivating our industrious staff. His 30 years of experience in the textile business has certainly enhanced the 20 years he’s worked with us.

Penny McGee       CFO

Bevis Rope’s CFO for the past 20 years, Penny keeps a close eye on the books and the balance sheet. She also keeps a close watch over inventory and day-to-day expenses and revenue, as well as maintaining our yearly financial controls. As head of payroll, Penny is known to have an amazing effect on staff morale.

Wanda Page         Office Manager & Customer Service

Wanda has one of the toughest jobs in the company -  making sure our customers are happy. She’s in charge of customer service and that comes with a lot of responsibilities, such as order entry, order expediting, invoicing, not to mention deftly and efficiently handling the occasional customer problem. Her 20 years of experience in the textile business served as an invaluable proving ground.

Chimn Vong         Rope Master

Chimn (pronounced Ch-im) Vong, one of three Bevis Rope Masters, learned his trade in his native Cambodia. When he brought his family to this country, Bevis Rope was lucky to find him. His knowledge of rope, twisting and the extrusion process has been fine tuned over a 20+ year career at our company Chimn is in charge of multifilament polypropylene extrusion, yarn pre-twisting and rope constructions.

Hong Ches           Rope Master

One of our talented and experienced Rope Masters, Hong Ches, has  more than 20+ years experience with the company. Hong is  in charge of monofilament polypropylene extrusion, yarn pre-twisting and rope constructions.

Sakhan Hok         Rope Master & Shift Supervisor

Another talented and experienced Rope Master, Sakhan Hok, has  more than 20+ years experience with the company. In addition to be our Second Shift Supervisor,  Hok is an expert on monfilamnet polypropytlene extrusion as well as multifament polypropylene extruskon.

Sophat Som        Finishing Supervisor

Sophat started her career wiht the company working during the summer. After she completed her education, she went to work for the company full time. She is now in charge of finishing, being responsible for over 150 products that feed into our retail business. She schedules, orders packaging and somehow gets it al to work in a timely fashion. With 18+ years with the company, her instincts and skill sets are intuitive and serve her and our customers well.

Chris Schooley        Shipping Supervisor

Chris went to work at Bevis 8 years ago as a machine operator. He quickly was reassigned to shipping where his attention to detail served him well. With 3 years, he was in charge of the entire shipping function at Bevis Rope. He and his team do a fabulous job of customizing our abilitites wiht each customer's needs, no small task.

Employee Base

Because of their experience, work ethic and ability to innovate, our employee base at Bevis is largely Cambodian. Their knowledge of fibers, construction, breaking strength and other factors has not only contributed to Bevis Rope’s success, but the inventive spirit that thrives in this company. Average tenure for our staff is 18.3 years.
